Last Dance!

On Saturday the 29th of October the TeAro dancesplash team went to the Botanical Garden’s Soundshell with Kristin and our new principal, Sue! Along with eleven other schools, we were there to celebrate World Teachers’ Day.

When we got there a kapahaka group was doing some singing and dancing. When they finished a dancesplash group from Titahi Bay School came up - they were pretty good (but we were better - just joking!!!).

Then Janelle sang a song. I think it was something about families.. Then it was our turn....nerves were starting to kick in....aka butterflies. We were on the stage and it started....it was difficult because quite a few people from the team couldn’t come, but we improvised and no one would have noticed. We did our dance and we rocked everyones’sox off!!!!!!WHOOP WHOOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then Sue, our new principal, bought all the TeAro dancesplash team sausages. Isn’t she awesome????!!!!! Most of us stayed and watched the end but some of us left early.
