Happening pack the bus

PACK THE BUS!!!!!!

On Tuesday 29 November2011 TeAro School helped a charity event called PACK THE BUS.

Ruma Kowhai went up to the principal’s office to collect the items that had been donated. Then we (Te Aro School) went down by the Mercure Hotel to wait for the bus filled with food, toys and books that other schools had donated.

Students with donations formed a line then packed the bus! A nice elf gave us lollies when we hopped off! Then a small group of students from Ruma Rimu played JINGLE BELLS on the recorder. All of the school then performed a song called Feliz Navidad (a Christmas song).

There were many people on the bus such as a fairy, an elf, a person from The Breeze, the bus driver and SANTA CLAUS!!!!!!!!!!!Awesome . Then the bus drove away.

Thank-you to all those people who contributed to pack the bus by donating. We’re sure lots of Wellington families well be very grateful and have a much happier Christmas !!!!!!!!!
